Buwan ng Wika Exhibit: A Celebration of Bulakenyo Heritage in Partnership with the Malolos Tourism Office
Experience the rich tapestry of Bulakenyo artistry at Likha: A Puni Exhibit, a showcase of the history, evolution, and innovation behind the traditional art of puni weaving. This exhibit highlights how our cherished heritage art has been transformed into modern, functional, and creative products.
Through the efforts of Punique, a social enterprise dedicated to preserving puni art, this cultural tradition has become more than just an artistic expression—it has provided livelihood opportunities for the women of Malolos, empowering communities while keeping our heritage alive.
The exhibit runs from August 22-31 at Vista Mall Malolos, offering visitors a chance to appreciate the craftsmanship and cultural significance of puni weaving. Likha is proudly brought to you by Punique in collaboration with the Malolos City Government Tourism Office and Museo ng Republika ng Malolos, in celebration of Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan.
Join us as we honor and celebrate our unique culture and history through the art of puni!
